Oschadbank provided charitable assistance to the multidisciplinary educational and rehabilitation center HARMONIA in Boryslav, the Lviv region, to set up a sensory room for children's rehabilitation. The center specializes in helping children with disabilities.

Thanks to the bank's support, a specially equipped space has been created at the facility to help children normalize their sensory functions, develop emotional sensitivity and perception skills, and promote relaxation. The sensory room is especially important for children with mental disorders.

The HARMONY Center cares for 84 children with disabilities, orphans, and children and youth deprived of parental care aged 6 to 20. Among the pupils are children from different regions of Ukraine, including the occupied Luhansk region. The center provides comprehensive medical, psychological, social, and educational rehabilitation.

This initiative is part of Oschadbank's inclusive program “My Accessibility.” Supporting children with disabilities, orphans, or those affected by the war is one of our social priorities. The HARMONY Center fulfills an extremely important mission by providing comprehensive rehabilitation for children. We are delighted to have been able to contribute to the creation of a modern interactive space that will help children develop and adapt," said Sergii Naumov, Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank.

“We have long dreamed of a sensory room. And today, this dream has come true thanks to people with big hearts,” commented Lesia Lanyak, acting director of the HARMONY National Rehabilitation Center.

Supporting inclusive and social initiatives is a systemic component of Oschadbank's corporate responsibility. After Russia's attack on the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, the bank transferred UAH 10 million for its restoration and helped 15 of its patients—children from different regions of Ukraine who had suffered mine and explosive injuries. They went to Sweden for rehabilitation. In addition, Oschadbank became a partner in an educational course on blogging for teenagers with disabilities—HIT (Hub of Inclusive TikTok), which gives young people the opportunity to unlock their potential and form a new generation of inclusive influencers.
