Oschadbank, the general partner of the national Paralympic team of Ukraine, congratulates Ukrainian athletes on their successful performance at the XIV Winter Paralympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, held on March 6-15, 2026.
The Ukrainian team won 19 medals: 3 gold, 8 silver, and 8 bronze. According to the results of the competition, Ukraine took 7th place in the medal standings and 3rd place in terms of the total number of awards among 55 participating countries.
Despite the extremely difficult training conditions during a full-scale war, complex logistics, and limited training opportunities, the Ukrainian team once again proved to the world the strength of spirit and indomitability of Ukrainian athletes.
This year, Ukraine performed as a record team—35 participants, including 25 athletes and 10 guide athletes. This is the eighth Winter Paralympics for our country since its debut in 1998, and each time the Ukrainian team confirms its status as one of the leaders of the world Paralympic movement.
“Ukrainian Paralympians are a real symbol of stability and courage. Each of their medals is a victory over circumstances and an example of how human capabilities are limitless. Their accomplishments inspire millions of Ukrainians to have faith in their own abilities and demonstrate that anything is achievable for those who set their minds to it. It is a great honor for Oschadbank to be close to the team on this path,” noted Yurii Katsion, chairman of the board of Oschadbank.
Oschadbank became the general partner of the National Committee of Disabled Sports of Ukraine and the national Paralympic team for the second time. This partnership is implemented within the bank's inclusive program “My Accessibility,” aimed at expanding opportunities for people with disabilities. Within its framework, Oschadbank actively develops an inclusive environment: it modernizes branches for physical accessibility, develops barrier-free communication, implements inclusive digital services, and finances projects for rehabilitation and social integration, in particular for veterans.
