In 2025, Oschadbank provided UAH 19 billion in loan financing to micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs), which is 30% more than in the previous year. At the end of the year, the MSME loan portfolio grew by more than 16% and exceeded UAH 30 billion.
The main contribution to growth came from the medium-sized business segment. New customers accounted for more than 41% of the portfolio growth, indicating the expansion of the bank's market presence and growing confidence among entrepreneurs.
One of the key trends of the year was the strengthening of market financing. The share of the state program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9” in the structure of lending decreased by 15%, while the volume of standard market lending increased significantly. This confirms Oschadbank's ability to offer businesses its own competitive solutions for development and scaling.
Partnership programs played an important role in this growth: the MSME portfolio within these programs reached UAH 9 billion and accounted for more than half of the growth in the business line's loan portfolio. The number of active partners of Oschadbank exceeded 300.
The investment activity has significantly strengthened: the investment loan portfolio has more than doubled. Businesses are increasingly directing funds towards modernizing production, expanding operations, and energy independence. In 2025, Oschadbank financed MSME energy projects worth UAH 2.1 billion, which made it possible to commission 100 MW of new generation capacity. The total portfolio of energy projects in this segment amounted to UAH 4.5 billion at the end of the year.
Oschadbank remains a key partner of the Export Credit Agency and a leader in financing using portfolio guarantees. At the end of 2025, with the support of Oschadbank and the ECA, exports were supported by more than UAH 6.5 billion, and more than UAH 700 million was financed.
The bank continues to combine lending with grant instruments and partial investment compensation mechanisms within the framework of state and international entrepreneurship support programs. Sources of resources include cooperation programs with the EBRD, state portfolio guarantees, and Oschadbank's own attracted funds. In particular, as part of the “Own Business” program, in 2025, more than 12,600 grants worth UAH 5.6 billion were provided to ensure financial support for the implementation of business projects. In cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, Oschadbank's support was directed at restoring business in the regions, developing micro-entrepreneurship, and increasing the energy sustainability of enterprises.
"2025 was a year of qualitative growth for us in the MSME segment. About 6,000 loan agreements were signed, and financing volumes increased by 30%. At the same time, we significantly changed the structure of the portfolio—we strengthened the market component and more than doubled the investment activities. Business is moving from adaptation to development, investing in modernization and energy independence, and Oschadbank's task is to ensure stable access to financing. We must remain a long-term partner for entrepreneurs," said Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska, member of the Oschadbank Management Board responsible for MSMEs.
