UPG and Oschadbank: Agreements Totaling UAH 60 Million Were Financed in the First Month of the Fuel Lending Program

The UPG gas station network and Oschadbank have signed a cooperation agreement that allows the network’s customers to purchase fuel under special lending terms. UPG became the first fuel network in Ukraine to implement such a partnership format with Oschadbank. In just the first month of the partnership program, transactions between agricultural companies and UPG totaling UAH 60 million were financed.
This was stated by Yurii Voichak, Director of the Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Business Sales Department at Oschadbank, during the Energy Finance 2026 Forum, which took place on May 13 in Kyiv.
“We were the first among all banks in Ukraine to sign a cooperation agreement that gives all UPG customers in need the opportunity to purchase fuel with loan funds. Lending terms: interest rate starting at 0.01% per annum, maturity of up to 12 months, unsecured. Loan amount – up to UAH 20 million. Any farmer in need of fuel is welcome to contact UPG, and Oschadbank will provide financing,” noted Yurii Voichak.
According to him, the program is available to farmers and other UPG business customers who need financing to purchase fuel with no extra burden on their working capital. The process is pretty quick and easy: the loan is unsecured, and the interest rate is really low.
The founder and owner of the UPG group of companies emphasizes that the stability of the fuel market depends not only on companies’ logistical capabilities but also on effective cooperation between business, the government, and the financial sector.
“We have already undergone periods of crisis when government and bank support was crucial for the fuel market. And now Oschadbank, the government, and other partners are once again demonstrating their commitment to supporting businesses and ensuring stable supply,” – emphasized Volodymyr Petrenko.
The partnership with Oschadbank is part of UPG’s broader strategy to support Ukrainian businesses and ensure reliable access to high-quality fuel. The company operates its logistics infrastructure, sources fuel directly from leading refineries in Germany and the U.S., and is developing solutions that help customers operate even amid high volatility in the fuel market.
Oschadbank stresses that the format of cooperation with UPG benefits all parties: the customer gains access to fuel, the Bank gains the opportunity to finance businesses, and the gas station network gains a tool to support sales and ensure a stable supply for consumers.
“Today, Oschadbank is a full-fledged financial hub for business and offers one of the market’s most extensive ranges of support programs for entrepreneurs. We are leaders in the number of available business programs, which are highly diversified and tailored to the various needs of our customers.”
Nataliia Butkova-Vitvitska, an Oschadbank’s Management Board Member in charge of MSMEs, made this point.
