Oschadbank launches special lending terms for women entrepreneurs

ESG news

Oschadbank is taking another step in supporting female entrepreneurship by introducing a new product for businesses founded by women, as well as companies where women make up more than 50% of the staff or have at least a 25% ownership stake. The program is designed to help Ukrainian women entrepreneurs develop franchises, launch agricultural projects, and scale their businesses.

The new product provides financing for start-ups through franchising in the amount of up to UAH 5 million, as well as loans for agribusinesses in the amount of up to UAH 10 million, under the “5–7–9%” program or on Oschadbank's standard terms. Both areas have convenient start-up conditions: the first payment for a franchise can be made from the seventh month, and for agribusiness—from the ninth month.

To participate in the franchising program, a franchise must have been operating for at least three years, have sold at least 30 franchises, 90% of which are active, and not be a passive investment format.

"The program complements our initiatives to systematically support women entrepreneurs, in particular the Create 2.0, Own Business, and Business 4.5.0 programs. Ukrainian women are drivers of sustainability and development of small and medium-sized businesses, and we at Oschadbank continue to create even more opportunities for them," said Nataliia Butkova-Vitvitska, member of the Oschadbank Board responsible for MSMEs.

Detailed advice on the terms of the program can be obtained at any Oschadbank branch.
