Oschadbank has financed over UAH 2 billion in energy supply projects for MSMEs

Over the past 12 months, Oschadbank has financed over UAH 2 billion in energy supply projects for micro, small, and medium-sized businesses, systematically shaping the distributed generation lending market in Ukraine. This has enabled businesses across the country to ensure continuity of operations even during peak loads and power outages.

Oschadbank's portfolio of financed energy solutions is dominated by solar generation projects with a total financing volume of over UAH 1 billion. Significant investments have been made in gas piston power plants, as well as in hydro, bio, and wind generation projects, totaling more than UAH 1 billion. A separate area of focus has been the financing of backup generators, which exceeded UAH 150 million.

Financing of energy projects through Oschadbank covers key sectors of the economy. Industry accounts for the largest share of investments—41%, followed by trade with a share of 20%, services—17%, and agriculture—16%. Construction accounts for 2%, with another 5% going to other industries.
