Oschadbank has become one of the Ukrainian employers recognized for the systematic development of a culture of equal opportunities within the national project “Equal Opportunities Leadership 2025.” This is the first award in Ukraine for employers who foster an inclusive corporate culture and create an environment of equal opportunities for women in business.
The award from the international community Women Leaders for Ukraine was received by Roza Tapanova, a member of the Oschadbank Supervisory Board. She took part in a panel discussion on the impact of a culture of equal opportunities on business results and employer reputation at a conference dedicated to this project.
In her speech, Roza Tapanova emphasized that equal opportunities were part of Oschadbank's DNA even before the start of the full-scale war, and today it is a strategic necessity for any socially responsible company.
"Leadership in equal opportunities is, in particular, a daily feat of resilience and responsibility on the part of our female branch managers in de-occupied and frontline territories. Most of them are headed by women. This is the daily work of all our employees who, understanding the importance of financial services accessibility, go to work every day even near the combat zone," said the member of the supervisory board.
She emphasized that the bank's vision, approved by the supervisory board last year, directly defines Oschad as an inclusive nationwide bank with high ethical standards.
“Nowadays, customers choose Oschadbank primarily for its value system, responsibility, and courage to stand by its customers despite all the challenges of war,” emphasized Roza Tapanova.
