Despite the difficult energy situation, 1,088 branches of Oschadbank opened their doors to customers today

Despite massive attacks by the Russian Federation on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, the Oschadbank network continues to operate steadily: as of Tuesday morning, October 28, 1,088 branches began operating thanks to an extensive backup power supply system. 433 of them belong to the integrated POWER BANKING network, created on the initiative of the National Bank of Ukraine. This ensures the operation of cash desks, ATMs, and services during prolonged power outages. In addition, in order to keep the public informed, the branch operating schedule is updated daily on Oschadbank's official website, https://www.oschadbank.ua/map, and on Google Maps. Additionally, announcements containing the addresses of the nearest operating branches are posted on the doors of the bank branches in the event of situational changes in the operating mode. All key Oschadbank systems are functioning without interruption.

"Even in the most difficult conditions, we ensure the uninterrupted operation of the bank. This is the result of measures to strengthen the energy resilience of our network. We learned our lessons after last winter and are now focusing not only on autonomy but also on the duration and controllability of backup power. Our task is to ensure that customers can receive the services they need under any conditions. For Oschadbank, preparing for the autumn-winter period is a matter of uninterrupted operation and part of the overall resilience strategy that we have been systematically implementing since the start of the full-scale war," said Sergii Naumov, Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank.

Recently, Oschadbank has been improving the efficiency of its energy management: increasing the capacity of energy storage systems, modernizing electrical panels, and implementing an hourly consumption monitoring system that allows for more economical use of resources and ensures the stable operation of branches even in the event of prolonged power outages. This work will continue in the future.
