The Ukrainian Men's National Team Supported by Oschadbank Wins Silver at the Amp Futbol Cup 2026

With the support of Oschadbank, the Ukrainian national amputee football team took part in the Amp Futbol Cup international tournament on June 20-21 in Warsaw, winning silver medals. This successful result is yet further proof of the growth of adaptive sport in Ukraine and its vital role in the rehabilitation and social integration of veterans.

For Oschadbank, supporting amputee football fits right in with its own inclusive program  “My Barrier-Free” and demonstrates its consistent commitment to the development of adaptive sport in Ukraine.

We believe, supporting initiatives that help veterans return to active civilian life should be a part of our values. Sport is the most effective way to achieve this. We are pleased to note that, supported by Oschadbank, amputee football in Ukraine has grown from individual tournaments to a national championship and now to international competitions,” - commented Anton Tiutiun, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.

Oschadbank provides ongoing support for adaptive sports, in particular ampfootball. The first charity “Match for Heroes” was held with the support of Oschadbank and Mastercard on October 20, 2024, at the Viktor Bannikov NTK Stadium in Kyiv.  Oschadbank is now a permanent partner of this charity tournament. Oschadbank supports   "The League of the Mighty" social project and the Ukrainian National Paralympic Team. The bank has signed a memorandum with the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine on the joint development of an accessible environment in the field of physical education. The partners plan to implement rehabilitation and social integration programs for veterans and people with disabilities, in particular through physical activity, to organize inclusive sporting and educational events, as well as to promote a non-discriminatory approach in sport.

Thus, the support for the amputee football team at the Amp Futbol Cup 2026 marked another step in Oschadbank’s systematic efforts to promote accessibility and adaptive sports. The Ukrainian national team has reaffirmed its status as one of the strongest teams in ampfootball.

The Ukrainian Amputee Football National Team has been established and continues to develop with the support of the UAF’s social project, “The League of the Mighty”.

Online broadcasts of the tournament’s matches have attracted over 10,000 views. Public interest in inclusive sport is growing. A culture of accessibility is taking shape in our country.
