With financial support from Oschadbank, the “Watch Ukrainian!” Association opened a cinema space at the hospital in Truskavets, the Lviv region, for our defenders who are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation after serious injuries sustained in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The opening of the cinema space featured a screening of the film “Dovbush” with the participation of director and tour ambassador Oles Sanin.

The initiative is being implemented by the “Watch Ukrainian!” Association as part of the “Cinema for Victory!” national tour in collaboration with partners and provides systematic moral and psychological support to wounded soldiers.

The cinema spaces are equipped with the necessary modern equipment for screenings. They become a place for relaxation, communication, and mutual assistance. Here, defenders have the opportunity to watch Ukrainian films and meet with artists.

As of today, nine such spaces have already been opened in medical facilities in the Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, and now Lviv regions.

"Rehabilitation is much more than medicine. It is a return to a full life, moral and psychological support, and an opportunity to develop in sports and culture. That is why we supported the creation of a cinema space where our defenders can feel the gratitude of society, gain new experiences, and find strength and inspiration. We believe that Ukrainian cinema will become an important factor in the rehabilitation of Ukrainian heroes," said Sergii Naumov, Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank.

"We are convinced that this project has a real impact—soldiers receive the emotional support they need, and medical institutions are constantly expressing interest in creating new cinema spaces. We are sincerely grateful to our partners for their trust and support, which enable us to implement such important projects,“ commented Andrii Rizol, Chairman of the Board of the ”Watch Ukrainian!" Association.

The opening of the cinema space was part of Oschadbank's inclusive program “My Accessibility,” which systematically cares for veterans and their families. Together with its partners, Oschadbank has opened five mobile rehabilitation modules and recently implemented five projects to assist the Superhumans Center, a nationwide military trauma center.

Oschadbank pays considerable attention to the development of adaptive sports. In particular, it organized the first-ever Ukrainian Amputee Football Championship and held a charity tournament in this sport, called “Match for Heroes.” Last year, Oschadbank supported the participation of the Ukrainian National Paralympic Team in the XVII Summer Paralympic Games in Paris.

In addition, the bank is developing financial instruments for veterans: through the Business 4.5.0 preferential lending program, they have already been granted approximately UAH 145 million in loans, and within the framework of the state program eRobota, more than 1,700 veteran projects have received over UAH 700 million in grant funding with the help of Oschadbank.
