On August 27, the annual “50 Most Influential Women in Fintech 2026” ranking was presented, featuring three representatives from Oschadbank for the fourth consecutive year: Supervisory Board members Roza Tapanova and Yuliia Pashko, and Management Board member in charge of MSMEs, Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska.
The ranking, compiled by the Ukrainian Association of Fintech and Innovation Companies (UAFIC), recognizes professionals who influence the development of Ukraine’s financial and technology sectors. The ranking takes into account not only a woman’s position or the size of her company, but first and foremost her professional achievements, level of influence on strategic decisions, projects implemented, innovation, responsibility, and contribution to the development of the financial ecosystem.
“Being recognized in the ‘50 Most Influential Women in Fintech’ ranking is, above all, an acknowledgment of professional contribution and responsibility. As a member of Oschadbank’s Supervisory Board, it is important to me that our work is focused on ensuring the Bank’s sustainable development, effective corporate governance, and oversight of the implementation of strategic priorities. At the same time, strong female leadership is a key component that drives the development of the present-day financial sector. Oschadbank is well-positioned to continue being among those shaping this trend in Ukraine,” said Roza Tapanova, a member of Oschadbank’s Supervisory Board.
A modern bank is, first and foremost, a reliable and technologically advanced infrastructure capable of ensuring business continuity and protecting customers. It is essential for the Supervisory Board not only to evaluate the results of implementing technological solutions but also to manage the associated risks, particularly in terms of cybersecurity.
“It is precisely a comprehensive approach to technological development, risk management, and cybersecurity that allows us to simultaneously foster innovation, strengthen the Bank’s resilience, and maintain customer trust. These issues are key components of effective corporate governance and are of primary focus for the Supervisory Board,” said Yuliia Pashko, a member of Oschadbank’s Supervisory Board.
Digitalization is one of the priority areas for developing services for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Oschadbank is consistently migrating key processes online, making them automated, and expanding the capabilities of the OschadBusiness platform. Over the past year, four new client modules have been launched on the platform, specifically for remote insurance enrollment, account opening, data updates, and the approval of forward exchange contracts. In total, more than 100 functional updates have been implemented to simplify entrepreneurs’ interactions with the Bank. These include interbank exchange rates, cash collection services, direct dealing, expanded partner lending programs, and new capabilities for managing grants. The Bank has also joined the government’s e-Entrepreneur service and transitioned to the new “Diia.Multisharing” model.
“For us, digitalization is not merely the transition of individual services to an online format. It is the continuous improvement of the customer experience based on the actual needs of businesses. We are expanding the capabilities of OschadBusiness, automating processes, and creating new services that enable entrepreneurs to handle more issues remotely. It’s important that customers now have the opportunity to directly rate our services, and the MSME team uses this feedback to further enhance them,” said Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska, a member of Oschadbank’s Management Board in charge of MSMEs.
This is the sixth time that the UAFIC has ranked the “50 Most Influential Women in Fintech.” It is intended to recognize the professional achievements of individual industry representatives and highlight who is driving Ukrainian fintech, which competencies are becoming key, and how women’s leadership in the financial sector is evolving.
The research for the ranking was conducted in several stages between June and August 2026. Women from banks, fintech companies, the payment and insurance industries, technology companies, the public sector, international organizations, and other entities influencing the development of the financial ecosystem were invited to participate.
Following an initial selection process, a jury determined the final list of 50 participants through a secret ballot.
