Oschadbank Increased Microbusiness Financing by 37%: Entrepreneurs Were Granted UAH 3.3 billion Over the Past Six Months

Oschadbank keeps boosting financing for Ukrainian microbusinesses. In H1 2026, the Bank granted UAH 3.3 billion in microloans -- 37% more than in H1 2025. The number of loans granted rose by 27% - to 2,596.

Despite the war-related challenges and high risks, Oschadbank continues to actively provide loans to entrepreneurs across Ukraine, particularly to agricultural producers and businesses in frontline regions. The Bank's microbusiness loan portfolio has grown by nearly 20% year-to-date, exceeding UAH 7.6 billion.

“In the first half of the year, we increased financing for microbusinesses by 37% - to UAH 3.3 billion. This figure is the result of the daily work of our team and thousands of entrepreneurs who need financing to sustain and grow their businesses. It is especially crucial for Oschadbank to support small businesses and agricultural producers in frontline regions, where access to financing is often of utmost importance. We carefully review every application, looking for opportunities to support viable businesses even under challenging conditions,” said Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska, Oschadbank’s Management Board member in charge of MSMEs.

Over H1 2026, the Oschadbank's team successfully processed 2,799 applications from microbusinesses. The growth in lending volumes is driven by increased team efficiency, enabling the processing of more applications.

Cooperation with the Partial Credit Guarantee Fund in Agriculture remains a key tool for supporting the agricultural sector. Under the portfolio guarantee program, the Bank granted 313 microloans totaling UAH 459.8 million to agricultural producers in the first half of the year.
