Oschadbank has introduced remote document signing via the Diia app in Mobile Oschad

Oschad News

Oschadbank is expanding its capabilities for customers and launching a new service for remote document signing via the app Diia without visiting a branch.

This is a new level of digital service that makes banking services more accessible, faster, and more convenient for customers, namely by providing the opportunity to obtain the necessary services remotely, even while abroad.

In addition, the new functionality saves more than 10 minutes per customer at the branch, as there is no longer any need to print, scan, and archive documents.

The service can already be used to sign online documents related to:

  • opening and operating with payment cards and accounts;
  • opening and other operations with deposits;
  • signing financial monitoring questionnaires;
  • issuing certificates from the Deposit Guarantee Fund.

The list will be expanded in the near future—in particular, to include services related to renting individual safe deposit boxes, setting credit limits, and new forms of documents for financial monitoring.

The electronic signature process works as follows: after the document is generated in the system, the client receives a push notification in Mobile Oschad, reviews it, and signs it via the Diia app. The document is then automatically stored in the bank's electronic archive and is available to the client for re-download.

"The launch of remote document signing via Diia is another step in the digitalization of Oschadbank's services. We want our customers to be able to receive the services they need quickly and conveniently, without unnecessary bureaucracy and restrictions. By implementing this project, we are also reducing paper consumption, which is an important contribution to environmental protection. This service is an example of the bank's transformation, which we are implementing as part of the My Accessibility program. It shows how modern technologies make banking services more inclusive, environmentally friendly, and accessible to everyone," comments Anton Tiutiun, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank.

Oschad plans to continue developing digital services, creating simple, modern, and barrier-free banking for everyone.
