Today, the National Agency of Ukraine for the Identification, Investigation, and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) announced the termination of the competition procedure for selecting a manager for the Gulliver commercial and office complex (COC).
In its statement, ARMA refers to the acquisition of ownership rights to the Gulliver commercial and office complex by the state-owned banks Oschadbank JSC and Ukreximbank JSC.
The agency emphasizes that it operates exclusively within the legal framework, protecting the interests of the state and ensuring the rule of law.
“Oschadbank appreciates the National Agency of Ukraine for the Identification, Investigation, and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes' dedication to the rule of law. For our part, we would like to once again emphasize the conscientious fulfillment by Oschadbank, the majority co-owner of the Gulliver COC, of its obligations to tenants and visitors to the complex. We have hired a professional team to manage the Gulliver COC while it is owned by a consortium of state-owned banks.
The state banks will do everything necessary to ensure that the complex remains a model of successful office and commercial real estate and that the proceeds from its activities provide financing for the economy, with a particular emphasis on supporting the defense industry. The complex has already become a symbol of the reliability of the creditor rights protection system and the inviolability of property rights and is an important argument in favor of Ukraine's investment attractiveness," said Arsen Miliutin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank.
