Oschadbank is the program’s key financial and operational partner and will provide full support for grant funds – from reviewing applications and opening accounts to assisting participants throughout the project implementation process.
The program is primarily aimed at women entrepreneurs, veterans, and internally displaced persons. Entrepreneurs from the Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions are eligible to apply.
Under the grant component coordinated by NDI, participants will be eligible to receive up to EUR 8,000 in non-repayable grants in hryvnia equivalent.
Grant funding may be used for:
- Business energy self-sufficiency;
- Purchasing equipment for electricity generation and storage;
- Repairing or replacing damaged equipment;
- Procuring raw materials and supplies (up to 30% of the grant amount);
- Marketing and sales development (up to 20% of the grant amount).
In addition to financial support, participants will benefit from free consultations on finance, accounting, taxation, and legal issues, and will also have the opportunity to attend online and offline seminars.
Funding is scheduled to begin in July 2026, after the NDI experts and program partners have completed the application evaluation.
“Supporting small businesses in war-affected regions is essential for the country’s economic resilience. Oschadbank is well-versed in managing international programs that support entrepreneurs. In cooperation with NDI and international partners, we have already helped businesses secure over 600 grants totaling UAH 131.1 million. The total budget for the new program is EUR 400,000. Our goal in the 'Moving Forward' program is to ensure that grant funds are managed fast, transparently and effectively so that this support can help Ukrainian businesses develop as quickly as possible," noted Nataliia Butkova-Vitvitska, Member of the Management Board of Oschadbank in charge of MSMEs.
Oschadbank is one of the leading financial partners in the development of energy sustainability for businesses in Ukraine. To date, the Bank has already implemented and approved energy-related projects worth UAH 5.6 billion with a total capacity of 220 MW, and the total amount of financing provided in this sector has reached UAH 2.7 billion. Over 75% of the financed projects are clean energy solutions.
