Seven thousand Ukrainian families have already improved their living conditions under the state affordable housing program eOselia with the help of Oschadbank, with the total amount of agreements concluded exceeding UAH 11 billion. Of all participating banks, Oschadbank is the program leader, having issued 36% of all eOselia loans in terms of quantity and 35% of all loans in terms of amount.
Oschadbank pays special attention to supporting Ukraine's defenders and law enforcement officers, who account for over 55% of all borrowers under this program. Teachers, medical workers, scientists, and veterans also represent a significant share of borrowers.
The average age of borrowers is 34, and the most active age group, 26-35, accounts for 44% of all program clients. Borrowers aged 36-45 account for 31.3%, which, together with the younger group, makes up more than three-quarters of all participants. In terms of gender distribution, men account for 65% of borrowers, while women account for 35%. Thanks to Oschadbank's lending under the program, 4,452 children have been provided with their own homes. Families with one child account for the largest share, 31.5%. The average area per family member is 27.37 square meters. The program covers both the primary and secondary housing markets, providing the opportunity to choose the best option for each family.
Oschadbank provides the widest geographical coverage among the banks participating in the program, serving customers in all regions of Ukraine. The bank cooperates with 35 accredited developers of eOselia and has partnership agreements with nine regional administrations to provide additional support to citizens, primarily military personnel and veterans. Regional programs compensate for part of the down payment or the entire interest rate on mortgage loans. Such programs already cover more than 500 customers who have been granted loans totaling almost UAH 800 million. The total amount of compensation from regional budgets is over UAH 31 million. The most active regions in this cooperation are Odesa, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk, in particular the Kryvyi Rih City Council.
"We are proud that Oschadbank has helped thousands of Ukrainian families fulfill their dream of their own home. It is particularly important to us that more than half of our borrowers are defenders of Ukraine and representatives of law enforcement agencies. We see high demand for the program and are ready to continue to actively participate in its implementation," said Yulia Moroz, Director of Retail Sales at Oschadbank.
Applications for the program can be submitted via the Diia mobile app, and decisions on mortgage loans are made by the program's partner bank.
