Oschadbank and leading companies in the land reclamation market have agreed to support agribusiness in the financing of irrigation and land reclamation systems

The relevant partnership programs were signed on September 17 during the AGRO FINANCE 2025 forum, which Oschadbank organized jointly with its partners. It brought together about 700 participants.

Oschadbank and leading companies in the field of land reclamation—VARIANT AGRO BUD (Ukrainian manufacturer of modern irrigation systems for agricultural enterprises), AGROPOLYV (distributor of American Valley equipment for irrigation systems and automatic watering), and NETAFIM Ukraine (distributor of Israeli Netafim equipment for drip irrigation)—agreed to cooperate and develop partnership initiatives aimed at implementing financing programs for the purchase of irrigation systems and modern land reclamation technologies to increase soil fertility.

Land reclamation is one of the key conditions for sustainable development of the agricultural sector. In the context of climate change and frequent droughts, modern irrigation systems ensure stable harvests and the competitiveness of Ukrainian agricultural exports. Its development directly affects the country's food security and preservation of the potential of Ukrainian black soil for future generations.

Land reclamation and modern irrigation systems are not only technologies but also a strategic investment in food security and the restoration of Ukraine's agricultural sector. Especially during the war, it is critically important to support entrepreneurs who are ready to invest in development, implement innovations, and preserve the fertility of Ukrainian lands. That is why we are creating affordable financial solutions in partnership with leading companies and government support programs," said Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska, member of the Oschadbank Board responsible for SMEs.

Thanks to favorable loan programs from Oschadbank, Ukrainian agribusinesses will be able to purchase modern equipment for land reclamation and irrigation on unique terms: interest rate—from 0.01%; loan term—up to 10 years; collateral—equipment or property rights to it. Other advantages include a simplified list of documents, no notarization of collateral, and the ability to apply online through the OschadBusiness platform.

In addition, under the state support program, farmers can receive compensation for 25% of the cost of domestic agricultural equipment. And as part of the Oschadbank and EBRD grant program for farmers, there's extra cashback: from 10% of the cost of equipment for MSMEs and up to 30% for veterans and entrepreneurs affected by the war.
