Oschadbank and Mastercard invite you to join a charity event in support of the League of the Strong

Until June 30, Mastercard and Oschadbank are holding a charity event to raise funds for the Ukrainian Football Association's (UAF) social project League of the Strong and support the amputee football community, which helps veterans with amputations return to active life through sports.

Balls and T-shirts signed by the Ukrainian football legend Andrii Shevchenko and players of the Ukrainian national team will be drawn among the participants of the campaign who will make donations of UAH 100 or more with a Mastercard® card from Oschad. Five lucky winners will have the opportunity to meet in person Andrii Shevchenko in Kyiv.

The League of the Strong social project, launched by the UAF, is a unique initiative that involves people with amputated limbs or impaired function of one of them in football. It helps veterans who lost their limbs in the war to find a new meaning in life and integrate into society through amputee football. The project not only integrates new players but also contributes to the development of an active amp-football community and the development and popularization of amp-football as a separate sport in Ukraine.

Oschadbank already has experience in supporting similar initiatives. In October last year, the bank supported the charity game “Match for Heroes,” where veterans wearing prostheses played a football match with Ukrainian stars. At that time, the bank raised about UAH 8 million for sports prostheses for veterans under the care of the Superhumans Center.
