The funds will be allocated to Dnipro’s capital needs, specifically for the construction of new facilities and the renovation of existing water supply and wastewater treatment facilities, including the modernization of their power supply systems. The implementation of these projects will significantly strengthen the energy independence and resilience of the city’s infrastructure, as well as ensure high-quality basic services for community residents amid the challenges of war.

This is Oschadbank’s second loan agreement with the Dnipro City Council since the beginning of this year.

Bank loans are one of the most effective ways to finance community reconstruction during wartime. Dnipro demonstrates a professional approach to financial management and has a clear understanding of development priorities. Oschadbank, for its part, is always willing to serve as a reliable financial partner to municipalities that operate systematically, responsibly, and with a focus on community benefits. The total volume of loan agreements concluded by Oschadbank with municipalities since the beginning of the full-scale invasion has already reached UAH 5.2 billion,” said Serhii Chernikov, Director of the Corporate Business Department at Oschadbank.

Oschadbank remains a key banking partner for Ukrainian municipalities. Currently, it has the largest portfolio of issued loans in this segment of the Ukrainian banking system—as of May 1, 2026, its share accounts for 39% of the total financing portfolio for cities and communities in Ukraine.

The partnership with Dnipro is a prime example of Oschadbank’s focus on projects that ensure the continuous operation of critical infrastructure across the entire country.
