Oschadbank wins Danish Refugee Council tender to provide financial assistance to war victims

Oschad News

Oschadbank has won a tender announced by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) to make financial payments as part of humanitarian support programs. This aid is intended for internally displaced people, vulnerable groups, and war-affected individuals.

The official cooperation agreement was signed by Julian Zakrzewski, Head of the DRC Representative Office in Ukraine, and Dmytro Bashtovyi, Director of the Partner Relations Department at Oschadbank.

"We are grateful to the DRC for its trust in Oschadbank. The selection of our institution as a partner for the implementation of the financial assistance program confirms Oschadbank's high reliability, stability, and technological capabilities. We ensure transparent, fast, and secure payments and have the largest branch network among all Ukrainian banks. Together with the DRC, we strive to make humanitarian support as effective and accessible as possible for people who find themselves in difficult circumstances due to the war," said Dmytro Bashtovyi.

Payments will be made through the bank's own international payment system, MY TRANSFER. Funds can be received at the bank's cash desk or online through the Mobile Oschad app. An additional advantage is the ability to receive transfers at 10 mobile branches of Oschadbank, which operate based on specially equipped vehicles. They provide banking services in communities where there are no permanent offices, particularly in remote and frontline areas.

“We are delighted to begin our partnership with Oschadbank, which has significant experience in implementing social programs and enjoys a high level of trust among Ukrainians. Together, we will ensure the effective, safe, and convenient delivery of financial assistance to those affected by the war,” commented Julian Zakrzewski.

Oschadbank and the DRC also discussed prospects for further cooperation in other social areas aimed at supporting Ukrainians who have suffered from the war.
