Oschadbank Will Provide Financing to Build a Modern School in Zakarpattia

Oschadbank issued a loan of UAH 70 million to the Kolchyno Village Council in Zakarpattia Region to complete the construction of a new secondary school in the village of Kolchyno, Mukachevo District. The funds will be used to complete the construction of three school buildings, a boiler room and to landscape the territory of the new educational complex.

This marks yet another tangible result of the direct municipalities’ financing initiative, actively implemented by Oschadbank to support communities through the implementation of important infrastructure projects.

Once the facility becomes operational, the Kolchyno community will have a modern school designed to accommodate 510 pupils. Implementing the project will eliminate the need for double-shift classes entirely and provide children with safe and comfortable conditions for their education.

The new educational complex will meet modern standards for safety, accessibility and energy efficiency. This project involves setting up a dual-purpose shelter, modern classrooms, a gym, medical and dining facilities, building a boiler room, sports and recreational areas as well as landscaping the territory. Modern energy-efficient solutions will help reduce the facility’s operating costs and create a comfortable space for children to learn and grow.
