Oschadbank has become a participant in a new state aid mechanism to cover part of the costs of purchasing housing under the state program eOselia. From now on, Ukrainian citizens who are registered in frontline territories or have the status of internally displaced persons (IDPs) are eligible to receive substantial financial assistance from the state by selecting Oschadbank as a program partner.
The new option is even available to applicants who apply for the eOselia program as representatives of other target categories but have confirmed IDP status or are registered in a frontline area.
Within the framework of state assistance, you can receive:
- up to 70% of the down payment, which may not exceed 30% of the cost of housing (the cost of housing is up to UAH 2 million);
- 70% of the monthly payment during the first year, but not more than UAH 150,000 of total annual compensation;
- up to UAH 40,000 to cover related expenses—commissions, insurance, and other payments.
"The state is taking an important step towards helping people who have lost their homes due to the war or live in frontline regions. Through a state assistance mechanism, Oschadbank's involvement in the eOselia program allows thousands of Ukrainian families to acquire their own homes on favorable terms. We already have considerable experience working with the eOselia program and are ready to ensure the simplest and most convenient procedure for obtaining a mortgage with compensation from the state," said Anton Tiutiun, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank.
To apply for compensation through the Diia app, you need to:
- select Oschadbank from among the program partners;
- submit a standard set of documents for a mortgage;
- add an application for compensation from the state.
After submitting the documents, Oschadbank forwards the application to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, which decides on the provision of assistance. If the decision is positive, the bank will issue a mortgage for the purchase of new housing.
The compensation program is coordinated by the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine.
In addition to the Diia app, you can also submit an application at Oschadbank branches that work with the eOselia program.
