Oschad has joined the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC). The Council is the largest Ukraine-centered business association in the world, headquartered outside of Ukraine. Established in 1995 in the United States, it brings together more than 240 members, including companies from the Fortune Global 500. Its mission is to foster business ties between Ukraine and the United States, protect the interests of its members, advocate at the government level in both countries, and promote a favorable investment climate both in the United States and in Ukraine. USUBC actively supports its members in navigating the Ukrainian and U.S. markets through robust programming, advocacy, individual engagement, exclusive content offerings, expertise, information exchange, promotion of members’ activities, and facilitating B2B and B2G networking opportunities. Oschadbank plans to take an active role in events organized by the Council involving representatives of the U.S. and Ukrainian governments and business communities.
Oschadbank’s membership in the US-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) opens up new opportunities to showcase the bank’s products, services, and financial solutions to the international business community. The bank’s active participation in the Council will also help American companies better understand the Ukrainian market and create additional entry points into Ukraine, through investments, localized services, or the establishment of new businesses, leveraging Oschadbank’s infrastructure and extensive client network.
As a universal development bank, Oschadbank plays a key role in the recovery and modernization of Ukraine’s economy. At the same time, Oschadbank is a reliable partner in implementing large-scale infrastructure projects in strategic sectors such as agriculture, energy, defense industry, logistics, manufacturing, and trade. With its extensive branch network, the bank ensures access to banking services for both citizens and businesses, including in regions close to active combat zones. This approach makes Oschadbank a trusted partner for international financial institutions, technical assistance programs, investment initiatives, and risk-sharing mechanisms.
“Given that the United States remains one of Ukraine’s key economic partners, Oschadbank has decided to join USUBC as part of its broader strategy to expand international cooperation in rebuilding and developing the Ukrainian economy. Through participation in the Council, we aim to raise awareness of Oschadbank’s capabilities among the international community and potential partners,” stated Sergii Naumov, Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank.
Irina Paliashvili, President & CEO of USUBC, welcomed the new member, stating, “We are thrilled to count Oschadbank among our members and look forward to the bank’s active engagement in USUBC’s programming with representatives from both the U.S. and Ukrainian governments and the business sector. USUBC highly values Oschadbank’s leadership in sustainable development and ESG practices, believing that these efforts will be of significant interest to our broader membership.”
