Oschadbank was awarded with four honors in two categories for projects aimed at promoting accessibility and financial inclusion. The Bank's projects were highly recognized, both by a professional expert jury and by the “Voice of the City” community.

In the “My City” category, the project “Oschad Without Barriers: ATMs with Voice Guidance” was recognized. It is designed to enable people with visual impairments to use banking services independently and confidentially. Today, the network includes 567 such ATMs across all regions. They are equipped with headphone jacks (audio guidance), Braille markings on key components, and a raised dot on the “5” key for navigation on the keypad.

Oschadbank was awarded two more honors in the “City Without Borders” category for the project “Banking on the Front Lines. We Are Where It Is Most Needed.” The Bank’s mobile units have been operating in frontline areas since 2015. Currently, armored vehicles equipped with autonomous power supply and Starlink satellite communications cover 132 communities across 13 regions of Ukraine, ranging from frontline settlements to remote areas of Zakarpattia and Bukovyna with limited fixed infrastructure.

It is particularly meaningful to us that both projects were recognized at the same time by both a professional jury and the ‘Voice of the City’ community. The fact that the experts’ opinion aligned with the Ukrainians’ open vote indicates that the solutions we are implementing meet the real needs of people and communities. This is our contribution to making Ukrainian cities and the financial environment in general better and more accessible. We will continue to develop physical, digital, and communication accessibility so that banking services are convenient for every Ukrainian,” said Anton Tiutiun, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.

The awards ceremony took place on June 9 as part of the large-scale LUN City 2026 conference, which brought together over 500 participants who shape, design, research, and report on the development of cities and the housing stock in Ukraine. This year, hundreds of companies competed for the top prize, submitting their projects in various categories. The main goal of the annual LUN City Awards is to recognize the best urban and social initiatives and inspire efforts to make Ukrainian cities better, more comfortable, and more accessible for living.

Today, Oschadbank is a leader in the financial sector in terms of developing barrier-free infrastructure. Currently, over 750 of the Bank's branches meet all state standards for physical accessibility. In addition, 38 inclusive branches have been designed in-house with enhanced accessibility standards, and 14 mobile branches are operating to provide financial services in frontline and hard-to-reach communities.

The Bank is advancing this initiative as part of the “My Accessibility” program, which covers physical accessibility of infrastructure, the development of inclusive communication, and the adaptation of digital services to the needs of various user groups.
