Oschadbank Grew its Customer Base by 95,4 Thousand in the 3rd Quarter

Based on a comparison of the results for the first and third quarters of 2026, Oschadbank’s retail customer base grew by 95.4 thousand (excluding figures from the active combat zone). Specifically, in August, the customer base increased by 69.4 thousand, marking the largest monthly increase since the start of the year.

Such positive growth comes from increases in key segments for the bank. In particular, since the start of the year, there has been an increase in the number of customers receiving their salaries through Oschadbank, employees in the military and security sectors, as well as recipients of social benefits.

“We have observed an upward trend in the number of new customers. Compared to the end of the first quarter, the number of Oschadbank’s retail customers has increased by 95,4 thousand, demonstrating Ukrainians’ trust in the state-owned bank, the accessibility of our branch network as well as the convenience of our digital services. The growth in the salary and welfare segments are particularly encouraging, confirming that both citizens and businesses consider Oschadbank to be a reliable and modern financial partner,” said Anton Tiutiun, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.

The occasional apparent customers outflow is due to the bank’s ongoing and systematic updating of its database, verifying accounts and updating details of their holders. This does not lead to a decrease in the number of active customers, but ensures high-quality record-keeping and up-to-date data, particularly for reporting to the Deposit Guarantee Fund.
