Oschadbank provided UAH 668 million to Lviv, including for the construction and renovation of energy supply facilities

Oschadbank has entered into a loan agreement with Lviv City Council in the amount of over UAH 668 million to finance the city's development budget. The term of the agreement is 5 years. The targeted use of the funds is the development and implementation of projects aimed at creating and updating strategic long-term facilities, namely, improving the condition of roads and housing and communal facilities through major repairs, reconstruction, and construction.
Thus, the list of facilities to be constructed, repaired, or reconstructed includes a biogas plant with combined heat and power generation, an electric substation, a boiler house with a cogeneration unit, and Lvivteploenergo.
“Promoting energy independence and energy efficiency of communities is one of Oschadbank's priorities. We are a leader in the banking market in financing municipalities and the energy sector. We are pleased to support projects for the construction and renovation of energy supply facilities in Lviv. Over the past six months, this is our second loan agreement with the city council, with the total volume of signed agreements already exceeding UAH 1.5 billion. Lviv is a good example among municipalities in using all possible financial instruments to restore and develop the city, and we are pleased with this partnership,” said Yurii Katsion, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank in charge of corporate business.
