Oschadbank and Visa Offer Tap to Pay on iPhone for Customers to Accept Contactless Payments through OschadPAY

An easy, secure and private way to accept contactless payments with only an iPhone and the OschadPAY, no additional hardware needed

Today, Oschadbank and Visa announced the launch of Tap to Pay on iPhone via the OschadPAY for customers in Ukraine. The new functionality enables businesses to seamlessly and securely accept in-person contactless payments using only an iPhone.

Tap to Pay on iPhone allows businesses to accept all forms of contactless payments, including contactless credit and debit cards from payment networks including Visa, and Mastercard as well as Apple Pay, and other digital wallets, using only an iPhone and the OschadPAY app — no additional hardware or payment terminal needed.

At checkout, the merchant will simply prompt the customer to hold their contactless payment method near the merchant’s iPhone, and the payment is securely completed using NFC technology. The solution also supports PIN entry, including accessibility options.

OschadPAY uses Tap to Pay on iPhone technology, which leverages the built-in features of iPhone to keep the business and customer data private and secure. When a payment is processed, Apple doesn’t store card numbers on Apple servers, so merchants and customers can rest assured that their data stays theirs.*
