Oschadbank and Tetra Tech to Prepare Energy Resilience Projects for Ukrainian Communities

Oschad News

Oschadbank and Tetra Tech, a U.S.-based international engineering and consulting company, signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop energy and infrastructure projects aimed to attract investment and enhance Ukraine's energy resilience.

The parties will develop a portfolio of investment projects for communities, municipal utilities, and businesses seeking to prepare high-quality applications for funding from Oschadbank and international financial organizations, development institutions, donor programs, and private investors. The cooperation will include feasibility studies, financial modelling, technical, commercial and regulatory analysis, project finance structuring, independent technical advisory services and preparing projects to attract investment.

Priority areas will include energy storage systems, renewable and distributed generation, modernization of municipal infrastructure, including district heating, energy efficiency, water supply and wastewater management, critical infrastructure development, industrial energy resilience, and others.

Today, Ukraine’s recovery requires not only financial resources but also properly prepared projects. Cooperation with Tetra Tech will bring together international technical expertise, technical assistance instruments and Oschadbank’s financial capabilities. This will help communities and businesses move from identifying a need to preparing a project capable of attracting financing,” said Yurii Katsion, Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.

“Our partnership with Oschadbank — one of the leaders in Ukraine’s banking market — creates a practical mechanism for turning Ukraine’s priority needs into technically sound and financially viable projects aligned with international infrastructure development best practices. We expect our joint work to contribute to modernizing critical infrastructure and strengthening the country’s energy resilience,” said Nikos Tourlis, Tetra Tech Managing Director for Europe.
