The Supervisory Board elected Yurii Katsion as Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank

Yesterday, November 4, the Supervisory Board of Oschadbank selected the winner of the competition for the position of Chairman of the Board of the bank, Yurii Katsion, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Corporate Business. In accordance with current procedures, the appointment will take place after his candidacy is approved by the National Bank of Ukraine.

Yurii Katsion graduated from Kyiv National Economic University with a master's degree in banking investment management.

He has 27 years of experience in the banking sector. During his 24 years at Oschadbank, he rose through the ranks from chief economist to director of the corporate business department (2016) and then to deputy chairman of the board responsible for corporate business (2022).

Mr. Katsion has extensive experience in corporate business development, implementation of complex investment projects, and structuring of deals, including those involving international financial organizations. His strengths include high-level expertise in agriculture and processing, fuel and energy, oil refining, construction, metallurgy, and retail. Yurii Katsion is actively involved in the development of regulatory documents for Oschadbank and the NBU, as well as specialized regulatory and legal acts in cooperation with the executive and legislative branches of government, including those related to state support for strategically important sectors of the economy during the full-scale war.

The Supervisory Board notes the significant contribution of Oschadbank Chairman Sergii Naumov to the bank's success. The Board expresses its sincere gratitude to Sergii Naumov for the high level of professionalism and dedication he has consistently demonstrated while leading the bank over the past five years.
