Mastercard, VDNG and Oschadbank launch strategic partnership to develop payment infrastructure

Mastercard, the National Complex ‘Expocenter of Ukraine’ (VDNG) and Oschadbank have announced the launch of a long-term partnership aimed at developing cashless payments and modern services for the millions of visitors to one of Ukraine’s largest public spaces.

As part of the collaboration, Oschadbank, together with Mastercard, will develop payment infrastructure and acquiring services on the territory of VDNG, as well as introduce a programme of special offers for Mastercard cardholders at key events and seasonal projects at the complex.

The first partnership activities took place during the Book Country festival in April.

In 2026, the partnership will cover key events at VDNG, including:

  • the Book Country festival
  • the Career Festival
  • the warm season
  • Urban Park
  • Food Plaza
  • the Winter Country

Visitors to VDNG will receive:

  • discounts at food courts, discounts on tickets to the green house, on parking and when booking the Garden BBQ relaxation areas for Oschadbank Mastercard® cardholders;
  • interactive entertainment in branded areas by Mastercard and Oschadbank during events;
  • convenient, barrier-free spaces.

Oschadbank ranks second on the Ukrainian acquiring market — as of the end of 2025, the bank’s network comprised 85,600 POS terminals, which is 7% more than a previous year. The bank provides a full range of payment services for festival participants, including using the OschadPAY mobile application, which can replace a POS terminal.

VDNG is one of Ukraine’s largest urban spaces — the complex welcomes over 5 million visitors each year, covers a total area of 287 hectares and comprises more than 150 facilities. During the warmer months alone, the complex welcomes up to 3.5 million guests, with other 700,000 visitors spending time in the VDNG urban park each year. Over 330 events take place on the complex grounds annually.
