Almost EUR 90 million is the volume of agreements concluded by Oschadbank in 2025 for energy projects for corporate business enterprises

For less than 6 months of 2025, Oschadbank has concluded loan agreements with large corporate businesses for EUR 87 million for the implementation of energy projects, which is almost twice as much as for the entire last year.

This was stated by Yevhen Miachyn, Head of the Corporate Business Development and Support of Oschadbank, at the Energy Club forum “Energy System of the Consumer's Name.”

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, from June 1, 2024, to May 25, 2025, banks provided loans and opened limits for the implementation of energy projects in the amount of UAH 18.2 billion, which is more than 705 MW of generation capacity. Oschadbank's share in this volume of energy projects is 30%.

"A large client portfolio and sustainable experience in the energy market allow Oschad to monitor how trends in energy investments are changing. While in 2024, 70% of the projects we financed were gas-fired generation, in 2025, 50% of projects are energy storage facilities, and 40% are wind power generation. The stabilization of the power system and changes in gas prices and gas reserves have encouraged businesses to reorient to technologies that look more interesting in the long term," said Yevhen Miachyn.

Oschadbank also continues to maintain its leading position in financing energy companies. As of the end of four months of 2025, Oschadbank's share is 32%.
