1,000 Kyiv residents visited Oschadbank branches from the POWER BANKING network over the weekend

Over the weekend, more than 1,000 residents of the capital - pensioners, families with children, and young people - visited Oschadbank branches that are part of the POWER BANKING network and were open for Kyiv residents on Saturday and Sunday.

On January 9, as a result of massive shelling of energy infrastructure, a significant part of Kyiv was left without electricity, heat, and water. In these conditions, Oschadbank organized the work of some of its branches on the weekend to provide residents of the capital with access to basic financial services.

Visitors were able to warm up, charge their mobile devices, rest, and use the necessary financial services. In the absence of basic utilities, these branches served as access points to the financial infrastructure.

Currently, 436 Oschadbank branches throughout Ukraine are part of the POWER BANKING network. These branches operate even during prolonged power outages and provide financial services to customers of all banks, including cash withdrawals, transfers, utility payments, and other transactions. The current schedule of POWER BANKING branches is always available on the official website of Oschadbank and on Google Maps.

For reference, the POWER BANKING network was created on the initiative of the National Bank of Ukraine. It unites all 14 systemically important banks. Its goal is to ensure uninterrupted access to basic financial services for Ukrainians even during blackouts.
